Position Overview:

Zeztrix LLC is currently recruiting skilled and reliable Micro Trenching Crew Members to support a multi-year telecommunications infrastructure project in Tabor and Harmony, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. This is a unique opportunity to work on a forward-looking initiative that enhances digital connectivity while enjoying the benefits of working in a tropical location.

Crew members will perform micro trenching at depths of 10–12 inches using advanced ride-on trenching equipment. All necessary equipment—trenchers, trucks, trailers, and tools—will be supplied by the company.

Crew Composition:

Each crew will consist of four (4) members:

• 1 Operator (ride-on trencher)

• 1 Assistant Operator

• 2 General Laborers / Flaggers

Zeztrix LLC is forming six (6) total crews, with a total of 24 positions available.

Compensation & Payment Terms:

• Initial travel and lodging arrangements are provided by the company

• Financial advances available before the first scheduled payday

• First paycheck issued on a Net 14 basis

• Ongoing payments are issued on a Net 21 cycle, paid out weekly after the initial period

• After the first payment, lodging becomes the responsibility of each crew member (affordable options available locally)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate ride-on trenchers for micro trenching operations

• Perform vacuum excavation or hand digging to safely locate underground utilities

• Cut, core, and remove asphalt and concrete when required

• Assist in pulling or pushing conduit and cables, and installing vaults

• Conduct surface restoration, applying temporary asphalt or concrete patches

• Lay sod, gravel, and other materials to restore work areas

• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment

• Use tools such as jackhammers, demo saws, core drills, and pipe cutters

• Support skilled tradespeople as needed in daily construction tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in excavation or trenching projects

• Experience with vacuum excavation equipment

• Skilled in working near existing underground utilities

• Comfortable towing trailers and handling work vehicles

Job Requirements:

• 1–3 years of relevant construction or trenching experience

• Physically fit and able to perform labor-intensive, outdoor work

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

• Possess a valid Real ID–compliant Driver’s License for domestic air travel

• Strong focus on safety practices and adherence to industry standards

• Ability to operate or assist with heavy construction equipment is a plus
